So I saw my gramps in my dream.
He died the day after
I visited him in the hospital
a few years ago.
I asked him what to do.
He smiled.
Then I called my father,
and it hit me hard.
A stiffness ran from my ankles to my neck.
Tears filled in my eyes,
puddles poured down my checks.
I cried. I cried. I cried.
I couldn't move.
Just quiver and cry.
As my tears filled the roomed.

To my knees, to my hips,
to my breasts, to my neck,
above my jaw, above my head,
down my nose, down my throat,
filled my lungs, filled my veins.
& I drowned.

My grandfather is dead.
I miss my family.
